Ans: The graph narrates the number of people using the internet over the years from 2000 till 2009. At a glance, the graph indicates significant rise of internet users over the years. In 2000, only 0.003 lakh people used the internet. Within the next two years in 2002, this rose to 1.5 lakh. There was an increase of 1.497 lakh compared to the previous. There was further increase in next years. It is found that in 2003, 2.43 lakh people used the internet. After two years in 2005, it became 3.00 lakh. But after 2005 the number of people using the internet was increased faster. In 2005 the users were 3.00 lakh, surprisingly it rose to 5.00 lakh in 2007. However, there is a little growth between 2007 and 2008 it is a growth of only 0.56 lakh. But after 2008, again we can see the increasing trend of people using the internet. We find that in 2009, there was an increase of 0.61 (6.17- 5.56) lakh users.

Thus, the graph provides a clear picture of the increasing trend of internet users over the years while the highest growth was in between 2005 and 2007.
