Ans:

A school library is the place where various kinds of books, newspapers, magazines are kept for students to read, use or to borrow. It is a part and parcel of our school. Our school library is located on the ground floor of the school building. It is spacious and well-ventilated. In our library there are many numerous books on various subjects like literature, history, science, commerce, geography and so on.

 The books are arranged on different shelves according to subjects. The reading room and the office room of the librarian are attached to the library. Our librarian is a very nice man. When we take the help of a catalogue, he at once finds the book. He also gives us useful advice and information about books. Every student has a library card. We can borrow two books at a time as our need.

We are to return the borrowed books within two weeks. If anyone fails to return the books, he is fined. Our school library also provides us with daily newspapers and some magazines. In the library discipline is strictly maintained. Nobody is allowed to make a noise. In the reading room we can read as many books as we like. Our school library is very helpful to increase our knowledge. I am proud of our school library.
