Ans: Once upon a time there lived a cobbler in a town. He spent his days in singing and dancing. One of his rich neighbors was a banker. One day the banker said to him, how much do you earn a year? The cobbler smiled, "I don't know sir. I have never calculated the way I live from hand to mouth. I earn daily and buy food and go home with that income. Can't save any money. From my income. Still I am happy." Then the banker said, "I have decided to release you from poverty. Take this ten thousand rupees, save it carefully and use it in times of need." The cobbler, who had never seen so much money in his life, was startled and hurried home.
After returning home, he became restless as he did not find any safe place to hide the money. Finally he digs a hole inside his house and hides the money in it. He could not sleep at night because he was preoccupied with the security of money. He would stay alert for several nights in a row. Thus, he lost his sleep and happiness. One day he went to the banker and said that his money had robbed him of sleep and peace of mind. So he requested the banker to take back his money. Finally the cobbler gave the money to the banker. Now, he was able to enjoy a restful sleep as before.

Ans: Once upon a time there lived a cobbler in a land. He happily spent his days doing his work and lived happily on his meager income. He had a neighbor who was very rich. One day the rich man said to the cobbler, “I see you earn very little. You must be living in great misery.” The cobbler replied that his income was low but he was not unhappy; Rather, he was happy with what he had achieved. The next day the rich man again came to the cobbler with ten thousand rupees in his sack. He said, “Look friend. Here is some money for you." The cobbler was surprised to see the money and refused to take it. But the rich man told him to take the money as he would be able to use it in his time of danger.
But the cobbler took the bag of money from the man and thanked him. Now the cobbler is in trouble with this huge amount of money. Was worried about where to keep the money and couldn't find a safe place to keep it. Finally, he dug a hole in his house and left the bag. Yet he always thought that his money could be stolen at any time. This care and worry kept him up all night. He could not even devote himself to work. He realized that he had money but no peace and happiness. The next morning, the cobbler went to return the bag of money to the rich man. He said, “Sir, take your money back. This money has taken away my peace of mind.” Saying this, the cobbler left the bag.
